My Story
Welcome!
Hi! My name is Lisa and I am so excited that you decided to come visit me here on my web page. To tell you a little about myself…I started my hobby of woodworking in the fall of 2017 with making just a few small signs as gifts for family members. At the time I was teaching in a school district and when the summer of 2018 rolled around, for the first time in my life, I didn’t have a summer job. So needless to say, I had a lot of time on my hands…so to the garage I went. I am so grateful for my dad and the job he works because he is able to get me all the pallet wood I could ever imagine and more! So I started off with making small signs out of pallet wood. At the time, I didn’t know a whole lot about woodworking and every day I seem to learn more and more!
In July of 2018 I decided to create LJsCreativeSide. I feel like it is the perfect outlet for my creativity! I feel blessed every day to have this opportunity to create something beautiful for other people to enjoy. Since starting this business, I have found that while I do enjoy creating the different signs, I really enjoy creating different furniture pieces. I bought a new house in the summer of 2019 and have been creating different pieces to help decorate the house. From a table/shoe rack in the foyer, to a beautiful cabinet shelf in the kitchen to a queen size bed frame for the extra bed in the basement. With each project, I feel like I learn more and more and cannot wait to go to the garage to create my next piece!
I do want to give a big thanks to all the people that have helped me get to where I am today. To my family and friends, I could not have done any of this without you. Thank you!
While I don’t have a store front, I do like to keep everyone up to date with all the new projects I’m working on by posting on my website here, Facebook and Instagram. Customer service and satisfaction is a top priority for me here at LJsCreativeSide. I want to make sure that you receive a product that you love! If there is ever an issue with your order or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks for all the support!
